Dear Mom,

Between the Cat Blessings festival and Halloween I overdid the eating and, as a result, I've spent much time in my room in a weakened state. But I will be okay! Raspberry jam tarts are on the menu for next week! You know how much I like tarts!

One of the Sisters has kindly given me an excellent translation from English to Cat of Peter Rabbit. Peter ate too much lettuce and too many radishes and ended up in bed (like me) with catnip tea and all his Sisters got to eat blackberry jam. It's a sad and cautionary tale and I'm taking it to heart.

Anyhow, I looked great as a pumpkin and I had a good time!
