Dear Mom,

The Birding Sisters have posted their itinerary on the bulletin board. You see it as soon as you walk in, right there with catnip specials, used books, feeding dish sales, etc. They are going to be hiking along a creek bed. Right now the creek is dry but flash floods have been known to happen! Then we could be minus a few Sisters. Oh, well. C'est la vie. Easy come, easy go, as I always say.

Your art story was so funny! I read it out loud to my Level 3 English/Cat teacher. He thinks you write very well! He wants to know if you've ever thought of getting published.
