"Panther"

My Mom & I had a nice discussion about my name. The Sisters called me "Panther" and when My Mom adopted me that was the name we chose to keep. It was my name. I didn't have any toys or clothes or linens like a lot of other cats do so, at the time when we talked it over, we thought I should have something that belonged to me - that is, my name.

That was before we knew my birth mother's name was Violet Mae.

So now My Mom is asking me if I would prefer to be named after her. My name would be Violette June.

So I'm thinking about it.
