A Terrible Thing

Somehow, when I finished breakfast, my feeding bowl got pushed behind a door where I couldn't get to it. This was a terrible thing, a very terrible thing. I have a cute little feeding dish with a cat on it and it was empty and My Mom couldn't tell I was out of food. I Waa-ed and Raa-ed and Maawaa-ed and My Mom didn't get the hint. She was saying, "What is it, Sister Panther Rose? What do you want? How is my sweet little precious kitty?" I was so hungry, I thought I was going to starve to death. Lunchtime passed and there was no lunch. My Mom didn't see the empty dish. Finally, I remembered my lesson last week on the Emphatic Mode and I whined Maaa-Waaa-M good and loud. My Mom came running. She retrieved the bowl. She said, "Oh, Sister Panther Rose, there's no food in your dish. You must be so hungry. Poor little Cat!"

And I got fed! Yay! Education does pay off!
