My Mom bought me a book called The Adventures of Desert Cat. It's about a cat that's friends with a coyote and they go around together doing stupid things. In the end, the cat gets stuck in a cactus and the coyote has to pull him out and bring him to the hospital! It's a pretty funny book!

My Mom also gave me a book called Heritage Cat. It's a picture book about cats from all across the country, like there are beach cats from Florida and snow cats from Maine and every page has a cat lying on a quilt that's designed like a flag of the state. It's a very nice book. My Mom thought that if I looked at this book maybe something would ring a bell and I might remember where I was born and something about my Mother Cat, Violet Mae.
